Power Calculation & System Capacity Selection

On-Grid Solar Calculator

Enter average consumption (units/day). This estimates the kW needed to target near-zero bill with net-metering.

Assumption: 1 kW ≈ 3.5 units/day average (safe sizing). Actual varies with shading/roof direction.

Off-Grid Package Calculator

Enter your average electricity usage in Units per day. We’ll recommend the best off-grid package from our chart.

Disclaimer: This calculator selects packages based on your usage range. Final sizing depends on roof condition and appliance peak load.

KSEB ബില്ലിൽ കാണുന്ന Last Readingയും New Readingയും ഉപയോഗിച്ച് 2 മാസം ഉപയോഗിച്ച യൂണിറ്റ് കണ്ടെത്താം.
📌 Formula
👉 New Reading − Last Reading = 2 മാസം ഉപയോഗിച്ച യൂണിറ്റ്

ഉദാഹരണം
  • Last Reading = 12500
  • New Reading = 13040

👉 Daily Units = Total Units ÷ Days
👉 540 ÷ 60 = 9 യൂണിറ്റ് per day

ഇത് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് സോളാർ സൈസ് കണ്ടെത്താം
👉 1 kW സോളാർ ≈ 4 യൂണിറ്റ് per day
👉 Daily Use = 9 യൂണിറ്റ്
👉 Solar Needed ≈ 9 ÷ 4 = 2.25 kW
👉 Recommended Package = 3 kW Solar

ചുരുക്കം (Customer Friendly)
👉 New Reading − Last Reading = Total Units
👉 Total Units ÷ Days = Daily Units
👉 Daily Units ÷ 4 = Solar kW
.

How to Calculate Daily Electricity Usage from KSEB Bill

Your electricity bill usually shows Last Reading and New Reading.
📌 Formula
New Reading − Last Reading = Total Units Used (for 2 months)

✅ Example
  • Last Reading = 12,500
  • New Reading = 13,040
👉 13,040 − 12,500 = 540 Units
This means you used 540 units in 2 months.

✅ Find Daily Usage
Most KSEB bills are for about 60 days.
👉 Daily Units = Total Units ÷ Number of Days
👉 540 ÷ 60 = 9 Units per Day
So your home uses about 9 units per day.

✅ How to Estimate Solar Size
In Kerala average:
👉 1 kW Solar ≈ 4 Units per Day
So:
👉 Solar Needed = Daily Units ÷ 4
Example:
  • Daily Use = 9 Units
  • Solar Needed ≈ 9 ÷ 4 = 2.25 kW
👉 Recommended Package = 3 kW Solar System
(We always choose slightly bigger for rainy days and losses.)

✅ Quick Summary for Customers
👉 New Reading − Last Reading = Total Units
👉 Total Units ÷ Days = Daily Units
👉 Daily Units ÷ 4 = Required Solar kW

✅ Simple Real Example
2-month bill = 600 Units
Days = 60
👉 Daily Use = 600 ÷ 60 = 10 Units
👉 Solar Needed ≈ 10 ÷ 4 = 2.5 kW
👉 Recommended = 3 kW Solar
